Ingredients

  • 4 (6 ounce) Wild Alaskan Salmon Fillets
  • 1 tablespoon grapeseed oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely minced
  • 1/3 cup sauvignon blanc (nobilo)
  • 1/3 cup stonewall kitchen pineapple ginger sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Heat a skillet over medium high heat for 2 minutes. Add oil, and swirl to coat. Place salmon fillets in pan skin side up, and sear for 3 minutes, creating a brown crust. Turn the fillets over and sear for an additional 3 minutes, or until fish is opaque and beginning to flake. Remove from the pan to a serving platter and set aside to keep warm.
Remove any stuck-on skin from skillet and then add garlic; quickly sautntil just fragrant, approximately 1 minute. Remove pan from heat and add wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Lower heat to medium-low, and allow wine to reduce slightly for about 2 to 3 minutes. Add Pineapple Ginger Sauce and soy sauce to the pan and stir to combine. Pour finished sauce over the resting salmon fillets and serve immediately.
