Ingredients

CAKE
1 box devils food cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
FROSTING
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 stick margarine
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Cake
Beat pie filling in bowl
Add cake mix, eggs, and vanilla
Mix for 2 minutes
Pour into well-greased and floured cake pan
Bake 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes
Let cool

Frosting
Combine sugar, milk and butter
Bring to boil for 2 minutes
Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips
Pour on cake before frosting hardens
