Ingredients
- 1/4 ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 5 – 6 large ripe tomatoes, chopped
- Salt and pepper
- 1 lb. fettuccine
- 1 small bunch basil
- 3/4 ¾ lb. mozzarella

Preparation
Step 1
Warm the oil for 3 minutes, add garlic, and cook, stirring often for 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and turn heat up to medium. Cook until tomatoes break down slightly, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and add the pasta to the skillet. Toss until the pasta is coated with sauce and cook an additional minute. Pour pasta in a bowl and tear the basil over the top. Add the cheese and toss until the cheese melts.
