Ingredients

  • 1 large pkg. lime Jello
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large pkg. strawberry Jello
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 2 10-oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed

Step 1

Make the lime Jello according to the instructions using two cups boiling water. Reduce the amount of cold water added to 1 c. (HINT: use the pineapple juice rather than the cold water). Add the pineapple to the lime Jello mixture and pour in a 9 x 13" pan. Keep the mixture stirred until it begins to jell so that the fruit doesn't all settle on the bottom.
Soften the package of cream cheese and spread it over the hardened lime Jello. Refrigerate.
Make the strawberry Jello according to the instructions using two cups boiling water. Reduce the amount of cold water to 1 c. Add the thawed strawberries and pour over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate.
