Ingredients
- 1 T oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 green or red bell pepper
- 1/2 C mild salsa
- 8 oz shredded Monterrey jack cheese
- 2 whole chicken breasts, skinned, boned and cut into 2 x 1/2" strips
- 1 medium onion
- 1 or 2 t chili powder
- 1 package Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crust

Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Saute chicken in oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Roll out pizza crust on 15" stone. Bake for 5 minutes. Thinly slice onion and peppers; cut in half. Press garlic with garlic press and add to skillet with onions, peppers, chili powder, and salt. Cook 2 minutes or until vegetables are crispy, yet tender. Spoon chicken over par-baked crust. Spoon salsa over chicken, then sprinkle cheese over the chicken. Bake 10-15 minutes or until crust is nice shade of golden brown.
