Ingredients
- 1/2 ½ tbs. yeast
- 1/4 ¼ cup water, 105 – 115 degrees
- 1/4 ¼ cup milk
- 4 tbs. butter
- 1/2 ½ tsp. salt
- 2 tbs. sugar
- 2 – 2 ½ cups flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 ½ cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2/3 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 ½ tsp. cinnamon
- 4 tbs. melted butter

Step 1
Dissolve yeast in water, and set aside for 5 minutes. Heat milk, butter, salt, and sugar to 105 – 115 degrees; combine 1 ½ cups flour, yeast, milk, and egg. Add enough of the remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead 10 minutes. Place dough in a greased bowl. Cover and rise 1 hour. Punch down dough and divide in ½. Make 6 10 inch rectangles. In another bowl combine remaining ingredients except for the butter. Brush down with butter, sprinkle a portion of the mix onto the rectangle and roll. Place on a greased sheet. Cover and rise 30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 – 30 minutes.
