Ingredients
- 6 (3/4-inch thick) center cut pork loin chops (I sometimes use boneless, skinless chicken breasts instead.)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 8 oz. sliced mushrooms
- 2 (0.7 oz.) dry Italian salad dressing mix
- 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans condensed golden mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup dry sherry
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. reduced fat cream cheese, softened
- Hot, cooked angel hair pasta

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375º. Place pork chops in a greased 13x9x2-inch baking dish.
In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté onion and mushrooms until onion is translucent. Stir in dressing mix, soup, sherry, water, and cream cheese. Remove from heat and pour over chops. Bake about 1 1/4 hours or until chops are done. Serve over hot cooked pasta.
