Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 md. onion, chopped
- 3 14 1/2 oz cans beef broth
- 28oz. can diced tomatoes
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 3 celery ribs, sliced
- 8 t. barley
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 t. parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/1 tsp. pepper

Step 1
1) brown beef and onion in skillet, drain
2) combine all ingredients in cooker
3) cover; cook high 3 hours or low 6-8 hours
