Ingredients

  • Unbaked pie shell
  • 1 cup swiss cheese
  • 1 can of cooked ham
  • Sliced mushrooms, fresh or frozen
  • 6 eggs
  • salt
  • nutmeg
  • pepper
  • 1/4 cup whipped cream

Preparation

Step 1

In an unbaked pie shell grate 1 cup swiss cheese and cover bottom of the pie shell.
Sprinkle with cubed cold ham (can of cooked ham) (Won't cook if too much of above is added.)
Add sliced fresh or frozen mushrooms (dry off excess frost)
Beat 6 eggs and place over the above ingredients with salt, nutmeg, pepper and 1/4 cup whipped cream (whipped with a fork).
Cover this egg mixture with grated Swiss Cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Serve hot with salad and wine and crusty bread or buns.
