Ingredients

  • 1/2 c olive oil
  • 2 tbl garlic
  • 48 whole little neck clams
  • salt, pepper and chopped parsley to taste
  • 1 c white cooking wine
  • (chablis)
  • chopped basil
  • 2 pd linguine

Preparation

Step 1

saute garlic in olive oil
add clams
sprinkle salt, pepper parsley
cove skillet & keep shaking pan so garlic doesn't burn - 2 minutes
add wine basil to clams
when clams open, they are done
cook linguine
add a little of pasta cooking water to sauce
