Ingredients

  • 2 eight ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 pound softened butter
  • 1 8 ounce block extra sharp cheddar cheese.
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tbsp sharp cold pack cheese
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

In a food processor (Cuisinart of course!), chop the pecans and set aside.

Insert shredding blade and shred extra sharp cheddar cheese. Set aside.

In the same processor bowl, mix butter, cream cheese and Worcestershire sauce until well blended.

Add shredded cheese and cold pack. Mix until well blended.

Add chopped green onions and pulse until blended.

Place mixture in a zippered plastic bag and allow to chill for one hour.

Divide chilled mixture into large balls or small cocktail balls, and roll in chopped nuts. Wrap well. Enjoy! (Cheeseballs can be frozen for up to 6 weeks.)
