Ingredients

  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a food processor or blender, combine the raisins, water, egg whites and molasses. Cover and process for 10-15 seconds or until the raisins are finely chopped. Transfer to a mixing bowl. Beat in sugars and vanilla. Combine the flour, milk powder, baking powder and cinnamon; gradually add to raisin mixtur. Stir in oats.

2. Drop by tabespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.
