  • Cobbler:
  • 5 c. fresh blackberries (about 1 3/4 lbs)
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 T. flour
  • 1 t. lemon zest
  • 1 T. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 t. B.P.
  • 1/2 t. soda
  • 1/2 c. plain nonfat yogurt
  • 2 T. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 T. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 2 egg whites

Preparation

Step 1

Combine first 6 ingds. in a bowl; stir gently. Spoon mixture into an 11 X 7 X2 baking dish coated with Pam; set aside.

Combine 1 c. flour and next 2 ingds in a bowl; stir well, and set aside. Combine yogurt and next 4 ingds; add to dry ingds, stirring just until dry ingds are moistened. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto the blackberry mixture.

Bake 400* for 30 mins. or until filling is bubbly and crust is golden. Serve warm.
