Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • Salt and pepper to taste/ Nature's Seasons
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine or 1 teaspoon olive oil

Step 1

Wash and dry chicken. Rub butter or olive oil on all sides. Sprinkle with salt and pepper/Nature's Seasons inside and out.

Put in slow cooker and cook for six to eight hours on low -OR - cook in microwave six minutes per pound in covered Tupperware container. You can make gravy with broth.

NOTE: May place sliced onion under the chicken and/or place unpeeled garlic cloves in and around the chicken.
