Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 C sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 C flour
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 7 oz can of whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 C chopped walnuts (opt)
  • 3/4 C powdered sugar
  • 1/4 t vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream margarine, add sugar gradually. Add unbeaten eggs one at a time. Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with sour cream. Add vanilla, cranberry sauce and nuts. Grease and flour tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Mix powdered sugar, 2 T warm water and 1/4 t vanilla. Drizzle over cake when cool.
