CHOCOLATE COATING FOR TRUFFLES
- 1 bar (4 oz.) bittersweet chocolate (or 3/4 c. chips)
- 2 tsp. peanut oil
Preparation time 10mins
Cooking time 10mins
Melt chocolate as directed above. Stir in oil. Dip cold firm truffles into melted chocolate, holding with a fork and spooning with several coats of chocolate. Place each onto foil-lined pan. Decorate with nuts, candied fruit, etc. Chill at least 2 hours to set chocolate. Place into tight container and store in cool, dry place to age for several days.
