Maple Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup real maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly brown pork chops in a small amount of oil. Place chops in flat baking dish. Combine other ingredients over low heat and pour over chops and bake 45 minutes at 400°F, basting occasionally. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer. Place chops on warm plate. Sauce can be thickened slightly with flour and poured over chops.
