Ingredients
- 1 C shortening
- 2 C flour
- 1/2 C powdered sugar
- grated rind and juice of 3 lemons
- 6 eggs
- 3 C sugar
- 6 T flour
- 1 1/2 t baking powder

Preparation
Step 1
Mix together shortening, flour and powdered sugar. Pat into a 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
Mix together lemon rind and juice, eggs, sugar, 6 T flour and baking powder. Pour onto base. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Frost with thin powdered sugar icing.
