Grandma Graves' Rhubarb Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 c. raw rhubarb, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar (or a little more)
  • 6 T. flour
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • Double pie crust

Preparation

Step 1

Mix rhubarb, sugar and flour in large crock; dot generously with butter and let stand 1 hour. Fill pie crust; cover and bake in 450 degree oven for 15 minutes, then lower temperature to 350 degrees for 45 minutes. It needs to bubble good in the middle.
