Ingredients
- 140 grams flour
- 35 grams icing sugar
- 113 grams butter, cut into small pieces
- 227 grams cream cheese, at room temperature
- 50 grams sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp. vanilla
- 66 grams sugar
- 4 cups apples, peeled, and cut into ¼ inch slices
- 35 grams sliced almonds

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease a 9 inch spring-form pan. Combine the flour, and sugar, and pulse. Add the butter and pulse until the dough comes together. Pat the mixture on the bottom and sides of the pan. Cover with plastic and chill.
Cream cheese until smooth, add the sugar and mix well. Blend in the egg and vanilla and process until smooth. Pour the filling into the crust and chill. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Toss in apples and spoon evenly over the cheese layer and sprinkle the nuts on top.
Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 400 degrees and bake for 25 – 30 minutes, until golden. Sprinkle with icing sugar.
