Gofer Cookies

This was Grandma Mary's cookie recipe...and was also found in Grandma Eva's recipe box. The recipe in Grandma Eva's box was typed and it looks like the way Grandma Mary used to type hers.

Ingredients

• 2 sticks butter
• 3 cups graham cracker crumbs
• 1 can flaked coconut
• 1 cup chopped nuts
• 1 tbsp. vanilla
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1 lb. box of confectioner's sugar (powedered sugar)
• 1 package of chocolate chips
• 1/2 cake paraffin

Preparation

Step 1

Mix graham cracker crumbs, coconut, nuts, vanilla, peanut butter, and powdered sugar together. Melt two sticks of butter. Pour over mixture and mix well. Shape into balls; pat out into any shape.

Melt chocolate chips. Blend in 1/2 cake paraffin. Use as a dip for cookies. Dip cookies nad place in refrigerator to chill.
