Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup thinly sliced celery
- 1/4 cup sliced onion
- 1/2 package (9 ounces) French-style green beans, partially thawed
- 1/2 pound ground chuck
- 1 cup drained canned bean sprouts
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 table soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- Chinese noodles

Step 1
In hot butter in heavy skillet, cook celery, onion, an green beans, stirring, 2 minutes.
Add beef; cook about 5 minutes longer, or until beef loses its red color.
Remove from heat. Stir in bean sprouts, bouillon cube, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and 1/2 cup water; cook, stirring, about 3 minutes,or until bouillon cube dissolves.
Combine cornstarch with 1/4 cup cold water. Stir into beef mixture; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and becomes thickened and translucent. Serve over rice; top with Chinese noodles.
