  • 3 cups biscuit mix, plus extra for kneading dough
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped, toasted walnuts
  • 1 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 450 F. Combine biscuit mix, walnuts and cheese in large bowl. Stir in milk just until combined.

Turn dough out onto surface lightly dusted with biscuit mix, and knead 10 times. Pat dough 1-inch thick and cut with a 2-inch round cutter into 12 rounds, and place on a baking sheet. Gather remaining dough and repeat process to cut out 4 more biscuits. Brush tops with egg and bake until golden, 14 minutes.
