BIG ITALIAN FAMILY CHEESECAKE (Gina Tite Wallace)

- 16 oz. creamed cottage cheese
- 16 oz. cream cheese
- 4 eggs
- 16 oz. sour cream
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 3 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
In blender whip cottage cheese until smooth. Add softened
cream cheese; blend. Add eggs, blending after each. Pour
into large bowl. Add sugar; mix. Add 4 ingredients all at
once from list #2. Fold in sour cream.
Butter spring pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Turn off
oven and leave in for 1 hour more. Do not open oven door!
Remove from oven and cool then refrigerate. This is the
original Italian cheesecake!
