- This corn beef and cabbage recipe is my favorite! Made into a low carb casserole, it's filling and delicious!
- 99% generally not a big fan of "exotic" ingredients, and the truth is 99% of my meals are a basic meat and veggie. This is one exception that has such phenomenal taste, it's worth the time, and special ingredient.

- 1 small head •1 small head green cabbage, chopped
- 1 can •1 can corned beef
- 3 •3 green onions, chopped
- 3 Tablespoons •3 Tablespoons of Bacon grease, divided
- 2 Tablespoons •2 Tablespoons of butter
- 1 cup •1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup •1/2 cup water
- 2 Tablespoons •2 Tablespoons of ThickenThin **
- •salt and pepper
- Directions:
- 1 20 large stockpot with water and about 1 teaspoon of salt and boil the chopped cabbage for approximately 20 minutes.
- 2 take 2 tablespoons of bacon grease and put in a large skillet. Add can of corned beef and chopped green onions. Break apart and cook the meat until it gets a little on the crisp side.
- Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Drain water from cabbage.
- 8 8 9 9 or an 8 X 8 or even 9 X 9 and add about half of the cabbage.
- Now add about half of the corn beef.
- Add half of the gravy (pretend I took a picture of this - but I forgot!)
- Repeat cabbage, meat, and rest of gravy.
- 400 25-30 a preheated 400 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Fantastic!
