Bessie's Fudge

Ingredients

• 2 c. sugar
• 2 T. cocoa
• 1 c. milk
• 1 c. nuts
• 2 T. butter
• 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar, cocoa and milk in medium saucepan; stir until sugar is dissolved. Wipe down sides of pan with damp rag to remove any sugar crystals Cook to the soft ball stage, a little firm. Remove from heat; add nuts, butter and vanilla Cool to lukewarm and beat until it starts to lose its glossiness Pour onto greased platter.
