Fudge Ribbon Cake

• •1 (18.25 oz.) box chocolate cake mix, plus ingredients called for on box
• •1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
• •2 tablespoons butter, softened
• •1 tablespoon cornstarch
• •1 (14 oz.) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
• •1 large egg
• •1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350ºF. Spray 10-inch fluted tube pan with flour no-stick cooking spray.

Cake Directions:

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour batter into prepared pan.

In small bowl Beat cream cheese, butter and cornstarch in medium bowl until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla until smooth. Pour evenly over cake batter. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Cool.
Drizzle with Chocolate Glaze or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
