Ingredients
- 4 strip steaks, cut 1-inch thick
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup dry sherry
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation
Step 1
Place the steaks in a plastic bag or shallow glass dish. Combine marinade ingredients and pour over steaks. Turn steaks to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour. Remove from marinade and reserve marinade.
Grill 4 inches from heat for 5 minutes for rare, 7 minutes for medium. Brush with remaining marinade; turn with tongs.
