Ingredients
- Optional Additions:
- 10 or 12 cups of chicken or beef broth
- 6-10 cups chopped cabbage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 + cups chopped potatoes
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 bunch fresh dill
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 Tablespoon vinegar
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 3 Tablespoons sugar
- chopped cooked meat
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 (14.4) can drained chopped tomatoes
Preparation
Step 1
Cook the first 5 ingredients until the vegetables are tender.Turn off the heat and add the tomato soup.
Garnish with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkling of chopped dill.
