~Fruity Pie Puffs!
By Bearbuddy45
You can also use wanton or egg roll wrappers, depending on what size pie you want. Basically, follow the same directions, but bake at 375-400. Savory fillings can also be used for appetizers. Seal them with a mixture of cornstarch and water. You can make up large batches and freeze them and bake them up fresh when wanted.
These can be baked if you use the pie crust, 350 for about 15 minutes. Make sure to seal them well or they will split open. Keep an eye on them as some oven cooking times do vary. Can use an egg wash and add a bit of cinnamon to the sugar for a little different taste.
These would be even more amazing if you could blend some cream cheese in with the fruit mixture or just add a little bit when you add the fruit filling. Just think they would be more creamy and delicious!

Preparation
Step 1
Roll out each pie crust and cut them into 3" circles. You will get 7 circles per crust.
Add a tsp. of your choice of filling into center of the circle and gently seal VERY well.
Add the filled puffs to the hot oil (350-360 temperature) and fry until they're golden.
Coat them in the sugar while they're still warm.
