Ingredients
- 6 cups flour
- 1 lb lard
- 1 yeastcake in 1/2 c. warm water(first)
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 t. baking powder
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 can evaporated milk
- WALNUTS
- 2 large packages walnuts, ground
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 t. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Blend flour and lard. Add yeast mix, eggs, baking powder, vanilla and milk.
Mix well and chill. Cut and fill cookies. Bake until slightly brown.
For the nuts. Boil water and add powdered sugar. Stir and cook 1 minute. Add nuts and stir until moist. Add egg and vanilla. Beat fast. Remove from heat and cool. Fill cookies.
