- 1 cup pitted prunes
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbs. fresh lemon juice
- ½ tsp. vanilla
- ½ tsp. cinnamon

Step 1
1 cup pitted prunes
1 cup water
Stir prunes, water, and sugar together and place into a pot, stirring a few times until the prunes are soft and puffed and have absorbed most of the liquid. Place the mixture into a food processor and process until smooth.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add lemon juice, vanilla, and cinnamon. Cool to room temperature. Chill up to 2 weeks.
