Ingredients

Boxed cake mix (whatever flavor you like)
Canned frosting (whatever flavor you like)
Coconut
Red licorice (thin string kind)
M & M's
Gumdrops
Food coloring
Cupcake papers

Preparation

Step 1

Bake cupcakes as directed on box. Frost with icing. Dye coconut any colors you like. Put colored coconut on top of cupcakes. Arrange cupcakes on long platter or board covered with foil like a caterpillar (wiggly shape). Use licorice for legs. Anchor end of licorice to M & M using frosting. Tip first cupcake up and decorate like a face with gumdrops using frosting. Use licorice to make antennas.
