Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 6-oz. can evaporated milk
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 4 Tbs. butter
- Dash of salt
- 1 1/3 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine slightly beaten egg, evaporated milk, sugar, butter and salt. Cook and stir over medium heat till mixture thickens and bubbles, about 12 minutes. Cool slightly; add coconut, pecans and vanilla. Cool.
