Sliced Potatoes with Gwen's Famous Butter Sauce

Ingredients
- ¼ lb butter
- 4 scallions chopped
- ¼ cup Parmesan (Kraft Shredded works best)
- 4 medium size White Rose or Yukon Gold potatoes

Step 1
Wash potatoes and pierce with a fork. Bake in a 400 degree oven until fork tender. Keep warm until ready for use.
Melt the butter and then add the Parmesan cheese. Mixture should be milky and a bit on the thick side. Adjust cheese or butter to reach that consistency. I have to admit, I fly by the seat of my pants when making this since I have made it in varying amounts over the years.
Slice the potatoes and put on serving plates. Right before serving, stir the green onions into the butter and ladle over the potatoes.
