Ingredients

  • 1 pk Storebought Graham Crust
  • 7/8 cup Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch sifted
  • 30 ounces Cream cheese at room temp.
  • 1 Extra-large egg
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 3/4 teaspoon Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the sugar with the cornstarch.

Add the cream cheese and stir to blend well.

Stir in the egg and blend again.

Add the heavy cream, a little at a time, and mix.

Stir in the vanilla.

Spoon batter into prepared pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Without opening the oven door, reduce the heat to 225 degrees.

Bake at the 225 degrees for 75 minutes more or until the center no longer looks wet and shiny.

Turn the oven off and put the cake back in for another 60 minutes.

Allow to cool at room temperature.

Chill overnight. Makes 1 8-inch cheesecake.
