Ingredients

  • 208 grams pastry flour
  • 4 – 5 grams baking powder
  • 104 grams sugar
  • 131 grams eggs
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 2 drops anise extract
  • 85 grams salted butter, melted and cooled

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the Pizzelle iron. Sift together the flour and baking powder. Whip eggs until frothy, add the sugar and mix until smooth and light in color. Add extracts and butter. Whip just until smooth and everything is incorporated. Using a spatula, fold in the dry ingredients, just until everything is incorporated. Store at room temperature in an air tight container.
