  • ¾ lb. Pie dough
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup of sugar
  • ¼ cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • ¼ cup of ground almonds
  • 3 apples peeled and cored
  • 1/3 cup of cashews (or brown sugar)
  • icing sugar

Step 1



1. Roll out pie dough and line a pie plate.
2. Bake 15 minutes at 400.
3. Beat eggs and sugar with a mixer until smooth.
4. Add butter, flour and ground almonds. Fill pie shell.
5. Halve apples and slice. Then arrange in circles over almond mixture.
6. Sprinkle with cashews or brown sugar and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
7. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
