Ingredients
- 1 frying chicken (2-1/2 lb) [Alternatively, 1 lb. each boneless breast and boneless thighs.]
- 1 pkg. tortilla chops
- 3/4 c. chopped onion (~1/4 med. onion)
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper (~1/2 med. pepper)
- 1 t. chili poweder
- 1 c. milk
- 1 can 10-1/2-oz. can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can 10-1/2-oz. can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can 10-oz. can Rotel, minced
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, diced
- 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat over to 350F.
2. Cook chicken until tender in 5 or 6 c. water; drain. Remove meat from bones and cube, discarding skin and bones.
3. Crush tortilla chips and spread in 3-qt. casserole. Add chicken. Blend remaining ingredients except cheese. Pour over chicken.
4. Bake for 40 minutes.
