Ingredients

  • Meatballs:
  • 1.5 lb Hamburger
  • .5 lb Sausage
  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 Cup Milk
  • 1 Med. Onion
  • 1-1.5 Cups plain bread crumbs
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Gravy:
  • 1 TBS Ketchup
  • 1 can Beef Consume
  • 1 TBS Mayo
  • 2-3 Shakes Worcester
  • 1 TBS Flour

Preparation

Step 1

Mix Hamburger and Sausage together with salt and pepper. Mix Egg, Milk and Onion in blender and add to meat mixture. Add bread crumbs, mix thoroughly and form into balls.

Bake meatballs at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Turn meatballs once during baking.

Wisk remaining ingredients together in slow cooker or in a large sauce pan (make a double batch if you like lots of gravy!). Add cooked meatballs - can add some of the meatball drippings for additional flavor.

Simmer slowly until meat is cooked through and gravy is thickened. (usually done after about 2 hours, but can simmer longer for additional flavor)

Serve with mashed potatoes.
