Ingredients

  • Combine:
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. lard
  • 1/2 c. sorghum
  • 1 egg
  • Combine the following in another bowl:
  • 1 c. rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. pecans
  • Combine rolled oats and pecans in another bowl.
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Step 1

Add flour mixture to the sorghum mixture and mix together well.
Add the rolled oats and nuts to the sorghum/flour mixture and mix well.
Bake until brown in a greased 13 x 9" pan.
