Preparation
Step 1
1. For the rolls, dissolve yeast in warm milk in large bowl.
2. Mix together the sugar, margarine, salt, eggs. flour, & milk mixture in a large bowl or kitchenaid mixer.
3. Knead the dough into large ball, using your hands dusting lightly with flour. Put in bowl, cover, & let rise in warm place for 1 hour, or until dough has doubled in size.
4. Roll the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Roll the dough flat till it is approx 21 inches long & 16 in. wide. It should be about 1/4 in. thick
5. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
6. For the filling, combine the brown sugar & cinnamon into a bowl. Spread the softened margarine evenly over the surface of the dough
& then spinkle the cinnamon & sugar evenly over the flattened buttered dough.
7. Roll dough from the longest side (21 inch side) completely to end.
8. Cut the rolled dogh into 1 3/4 in slices & place six at a time evenly spaced, in a lightly greased baking pan. Let the dough rise again until doubled in size approx. 30 min.
Bake for 10 min or until lightly brown on top.
9. While the rolls bake, combine icing ingreds. beat well with mixer untill fluffy.
10. When the rolls come out of the oven, coat each generously with icing, makes 12 rolls.
11. Note to self, icing goes on better when rolls have cooled a little approx 5 min. To warm them up after cooled, microwave for approx 20 sec.
