Coffee Cake Croutons

Ingredients
- 1 (103/4 oz.) pkg. frozen pound cake, thawed
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. strong brewed coffee
- 1/4 c. coffee liqueur
- 1 c. pecans, toasted and ground
- 1/4 c. sugar

Step 1
TRIM crust from pound cake, and cut into 1" cubes.
BRING 2/3 c. sugar and coffee to a boil over medium heat, stirring often. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat, and cool 1 minute. Stir in liqueur; cool completely.
STIR together ground pecans and 1/4 c. sugar. Working quickly, dip each cake cube into coffee syrup mixture, and roll in pecan mixture, coating evenly. Place on baking sheets.
BAKE at 250 for 20 minutes or until cubes are dry.
