This recipe is lots of work and is easier with 2 people. It is rich and delicate but well worth the effort. Make sure you have a line up of friends to share with as this recipe makes a huge amount. Trust me, they will appreciate every bite!

Ingredients
- 10 to 12 large eggs
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1 cup whipping cream (NOT WHIPPED)
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- dash of salt
- flour to make dough stiff enough to roll out and cut into strips
- canola oil for frying
- icing sugar for sprinkling

Step 1
Heat oil in a heavy saucepan.
Make dough usuing eggs, first icing sugar, whipping cream, baking powder, salt and flour. Roll thin and cut into strips 2 inches wide and 8 inches long; cut a 2 inch slit down the center and fold one end through. Drop pieces into oil and cook on both sides until light golden brown; remove from oil and lay on layered paper towels; sprinkle with icing sugar on both sides (poke holes into the top of a jar with a metal lid).
