    tablespoons Sugar salt

  • 5/8

    teaspoon Cinnamon if desired

  • 1 1/4

    cups Milk

  • 2 1/2

    tablespoons Butter or margarine

  • 10

    sl Bread

Directions

Heat griddle to medium heat. In shallow bowl or pie pan, combie all ingredients except butter and bread; mix well. Melt butter on griddle. Dip bread in egg mixture, turning to soak both sides. Cook on griddle over medium heat, about 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar. To make ahead: Dip bread in egg mixutre, place in 13x9 in ch glass baking dish. Pour any remaining egg mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours.
