    Cup Chopped Walnuts

  • 1

    Yellow Cake Mix

  • 1

    Small box jellow instant pudding and pie mix

  • 4

    Eggs

  • 1/2

    Cup Cold Water

  • 1

    Cup Wesson Oil

  • 1/2

    Cup Dark Rum

  • Glaze:

  • 1/4

    lb butter

  • 1/4

    Cup Water

  • 1

    Cup Granulated Sugar

  • 1/2

    Cup Dark Rum

Directions

Preheat oven to 325F. Grease and flour 10" tube pan or 12" bundt pan. Sprinkle nuts over bottom. Mix cake ingredients together. Pour batter over nuts. Bake one hour. Cool. Invert on serving plate. Prick top and sides way down in. Drizzle and smooth glaze evenly over top and sides. Allow cake to absorb glaze. Repeat until glaze is all used up. Glaze: Melt butter in saucepan, stire in water and sugar. Boil 5 minutes low stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in Rum.
