Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped or one suite pepper, chopped
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 10 ounce can of condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1/3 cup uncooked rice
  • 6 1/2 ounces of canned tuna, drained

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F.
1. Heat butter in a large frying pan set over medium heat.
2. Add onion and celery sauté until soft, about 5 min.
3. Add milk and soup, stirring often until it bubbles.
4. Stir in rice and tuna. Pour into a 2 L or 2 quart casserole dish.
5. Bake, covered, for 40 to 45 min.
6. Stir and serve.
