Ingredients
- German chocolate cake mix
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1 jar butterscotch or caramel topping
- 1 (8oz) carton of Cool Whip
- 3 Heath bars (crushed)

Step 1
1. Make German cake as directed in a 9x13 baking dish.
2. While the cake is still hot poke several holes in its top with a wooden spoon.
3. Mix the condensed milk mixture and 3/4 of the butterscotch or caramel topping together in a bowl.
4. Pour the condensed milk mixture into the holes in the cake and across the top.
5. Let the cake cool completely.
6. Spread the container of Cool Whip on the top and sprinkle crushed Heath bars on top.
