Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar-free maple flavored syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation
Step 1
1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the apples and cinnamon and saute for 6 to 8 minutes, or until lightly brown and just tender.
2. Mix together the syrup, water, and vanilla, and stir into the apples. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the mixture bubbles.
3. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
