- 1 (12 oz) pkg. semisweet chocolate morsels
- 1 c. finely chopped pecans

Combine sugar, butter, and water in a deep 3-qt. casserole. Microwave, uncovered, at HIGH for 17 ½-18 minutes or until mixture reaches hard crack stage (300º) or until a small amount of mixture separates into threads which are hard and brittle when dropped into cold water, stirring after 9 minutes. Stir in vanilla
Quickly pour mixture into ungreased 15 x 10 x 1” jellyroll pan. Sprinkle with chocolate morsels. Let stand 2 minutes. Spread chocolate evenly over toffee. Sprinkle with pecans. Cover and refrigerate until firm. Break into pieces. Store in an airtight container.
